The love for legos runs deep in the youth of today! This Printable Lego Money is perfect to use as an incentive/reward system for your kids! Most kids LOVE earning money and Lego money is even more fun for them!
I would love to say that my kids have escaped the entitled attitude that seems to permeate the world, but they haven’t. They want to be able to buy Legos all the time and when we go to Legoland they expect that they can but at least one souvenir. That’s an expensive habit to keep up and honestly, I don’t like that going to Legoland and the experience doesn’t seem to be enough. I’ve decided that its time to stop the madness!
I created this Lego money for my kids to earn by doing additional jobs around the house or yard! It is redeemable for anything Lego! They can use it to purchase Lego sets or anything at Legoland – including the fair type of games that I am tired of saying no to.
How can kids earn Lego Money?
This is obviously a very personal decision, but I can share with you what we’ve done.
I chose to print up a bunch of the Lego money and then I laminated them. That way the money can be reusable! The kids can earn the Lego money by doing extra chores around the house and yard like cleaning the baseboards, blinds, washing cabinets, etc. Anything that is a not normal chore around the house.
Then whether it’s for your next Legoland trip or just for a new Lego Set from the store, the only money that will be spent is money they have earned.

- Cardstock
- Laminator and Laminating Sheets
Instructions:
- Download the printable of your choice below.
- Print on your Home Printer on Cardstock.
- For long term use, I suggest laminating it with your home Laminator and Laminating Sheets
I made three different sheets of money options:
There quickly became a need for only one-dollar bills because that is the money I used the most. So, I created a sheet of just one dollar bills!
I am excited and feel a little more empowered to handle the “I wants” next time we head to Legoland or when they beg me for a new Lego set. This money can be used for so many things – the options are endless!!
